When disaster strikes...the ELCA is there!

this was true of the September 11 disaster with consequences that require massive physical and social resources to aid in the healing of thousands of people in New York and Washington D.C.

AND

when KATRINA struck New Orleans in August 2005 the Lutheran Disaster Response was there!

Lutheran Brotherhood has notified us that they have received our donation of some $1,400.00 and that amount will be doubled and used in the 9-11 relief efforts.  THANKS BETHLEHEM

Lutheran Alliance to Create Housing

Bethlehem has been supporting this unique agency for the past five years as a full member of their board.  Housing in Seattle is not easy for many low income families and LATCH's mission and ministry is to provide access to what many of us take for granted.
