Over the past weeks of this Pentecost season we have seen Jesus calling the disciples to better understand their call to witness. In short, that witness is to the good that is the fabric of discipleship and LIFE.

We continue that discussion this Sunday. And to do that, we lift high the cross which is the ultimate symbol of good!

	Our educational partners The Rainier Valley Co-0p Preschool who with 32 families who share our facilities from September through June.
	The Hungry and the Suffering Flood Damage in our city, state, and nation and throughout the world
	Betsy Meyer, Bud Parker, Paula Ingebritson, Linda Lin, Ray Brown, Kona, Verna Nelson,Tony Pedeferri, the sister of Jayne Tracy, Dorothy Annacker,
	Our NW WA Synod and our ELCA
	College students Blake Lin and Alex Meyer
	Don Potteiger, Deborah Roult, Andy Nang and Kayla friends of Linda Lin and also her cousin in Norway
	Our students in Middle School and High School who are completing another year of their education
	All our service men and women at home and around the world

And our continuing prayers for....
peace in our world. We pray especially in these days of tension in Israel, Afghanistan, and unfolding events with Iraq. Guide people and leaders that understanding and peace be a goal for all of us.
